The Chancellor’s Cabinet comprises senior administrators from the general campus, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, the Health Sciences and UC San Diego Health. Advisory to the Chancellor, the Cabinet provides strategic advice and works collaboratively to achieve the goals of the UC San Diego Strategic Plan. The Cabinet discusses issues facing the campus, providing input that will inform policy decisions and ensures a campus-wide consultative view of critical topics. Members ensure that the Chancellor is updated on projects, goals and strategies to achieve strategic objectives. The Chancellor sets the Cabinet meeting agenda with input from members; meetings occur twice each month.
