Commemorating 30 Years at the Forefront of Service and Education

CARE at SARC is commemorating its 30th anniversary at UC San Diego and reaffirming its commitment to create a safe and respectful campus community.  At a special anniversary reception this week, Chancellor Khosla commended the center for its work and talked about how the center has been at the forefront of providing survivor support services and prevention education for campus sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking.  It was the first of its kind center in the University of California and has become a model for other universities.  Over the years, the center has expanded its staff and services, offering education, training and outreach that reaches about 20,000 people a year.
