Diversity champions are making UC San Diego a better place to work and learn.  They embody UC San Diego’s Principles of Community by celebrating cultural differences and promoting fairness and equality. Several of these champions and organizations were recognized recently at this year’s 23rd annual Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action and Diversity Awards program ceremony.  Chancellor Khosla applauded this year’s recipients for their dedication to build a collaborative, diverse campus culture, and he reaffirmed UC San Diego’s commitment to enhancing and maintaining a climate of equity, diversity and inclusion.
