As part of his introduction to UC San Diego, Chancellor Khosla spent his first week making connections across campus, touring facilities and attending welcome receptions. Campus leadership hosted the first reception at the Conrad Prebys Music Center on Aug. 2. Khosla visited the Hillcrest Medical Center on Aug. 6 and Scripps Institution of Oceanography on Aug. 7.

On his first day, Chancellor Khosla met with faculty and staff, interacted with incoming engineering students, chatted via Skype with alumni, and visited Sapphire Energy, a local company founded by UC San Diego faculty.
