Approximately 175 students attended a Town Hall meeting on Jan. 8 to learn more about, and participate in, the strategic planning process that will define the future of UC San Diego. After a brief presentation by Chancellor Khosla, students offered their suggestions and thoughts during the brainstorming session moderated by Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Suresh Subramani. Khosla and Subramani also reminded the audience that they can submit their comments online at plan.ucsd.edu.
“We need to be a student-centered, student-focused university. At the end of the day, you are the reason we are here. You are an important part of this strategic planning process.”
