UC San Diego Welcomes Admitted Students at Triton Day

“We will provide you with a top-notch education, so when you graduate, you will be the leaders and the problem-solvers who will make a positive difference in this world. And we want students just like you, who bring diverse backgrounds, perspectives, thoughts and contributions to our campus, and who will help to make it a better place.” - Chancellor Khosla speaking to admitted and prospective students

Thousands of admitted and prospective students and their families explored the UC San Diego campus on Triton Day, and learned more about our undergraduate colleges, academic departments, student services, student organizations and endless resources. View a slideshow here.

At the various information tables that lined Town Square, Library Walk and other areas of campus, current students, faculty and staff members answered questions, set up games and demonstrations, and showcased the amazing work happening on campus.  After greeting prospective students at the Charting the Course college information session, Chancellor Khosla walked around the campus, visiting tables and chatting with prospective students and campus members.  He also stopped by the Thurgood Marshall College Cultural Celebration, the Intertribal Resource Center and the community lunch for admitted students.
