Hundreds of thought leaders, including Chancellor Khosla, gathered in Los Angeles this week for the Milken Institute Global Conference.  The goal of the conference is to bring together individuals with the knowledge and resources to effect real change.  The Chancellor participated in the “Building Tomorrow’s Workforce Today” panel, which discussed the workforce and educational opportunities that are needed to better equip workers for future jobs.  He shared several of UC San Diego’s efforts and initiatives – from training next-generation leaders and offering cutting-edge degree programs, to creating new multi-disciplinary research centers at UC San Diego that tackle our world’s most pressing global challenges.
