Recognizing the Generosity of Our Campus Supporters

Chancellor Khosla and Principal Scott Barton pose with the first class of Chancellor's Associates Scholars from The Preuss School UCSD.

Chancellor Khosla often says that the greatest gift a person can give is the gift of education and opportunity.  Last night, at a special recognition dinner at Birch Aquarium, he thanked some of the university’s most generous supporters – our Chancellor’s Associates –for their gifts that have tremendously benefitted our students and faculty, and our campus in general.  Gifts from Chancellor’s Associates provide a pool of flexible funds that allow the Chancellor to act quickly on important campus priorities and opportunities.  This year, the Chancellor established the Chancellor’s Associates Scholars program for eligible students at UC San Diego’s three partner schools.  The first class of scholarship recipients from The Preuss School UCSD attended the dinner.
