Hitting It Out of the Park

Triton baseball is in full swing.  The team toppled California State University Los Angeles last night in the opener of a key California Collegiate Athletic Association series.  Several campus leaders, including Chancellor Khosla, were at the game to cheer on our Tritons.  UC San Diego is currently ranked 29th, up from the team’s 39th position in the preseason poll.  UC San Diego and CSULA continue their four-game, split-venue set tonight and then have a double-header in Los Angeles on Saturday.

The Triton baseball team applauds the first pitch thrown simultaneously by Interim VC - Student Affairs Alan Houston and Chief Campus Counsel Dan Park.
