Chancellor Khosla with EVC Elizabeth Simmons

A special reception was held at the Faculty Club yesterday to welcome UC San Diego’s new Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Elizabeth Simmons.  Chancellor Khosla noted she brings a wealth of great leadership and administrative experience to our campus—ranging from curriculum development and assessment, to academic advising and student and faculty recruitment and retention—in addition to being a widely respected and highly distinguished physicist.  She also has a strong track record of enhancing and promoting diversity.  Learn more about EVC Simmons.
