Welcoming Alumni Back to Campus

UC San Diego’s first students and graduates from the Class of 1968

UC San Diego’s Alumni Weekend brings Triton graduates back to campus to reconnect with friends and campus members, and celebrate all things Triton.  The 10th annual alumni extravaganza took place this past weekend and featured numerous events, both on and off campus.  Events included a Padres game at Petco Park, Triton Entrepreneur Night, and a “40 Under 40” celebration – recognition of 40 exceptional Tritons dedicated to creating positive change through nontraditional thinking.

Chancellor Khosla attended many of the functions to visit with alumni, including those from our very first Class of ’68, and share news of the exciting physical, intellectual and cultural transformation of the campus.  The Chancellor noted that our alumni are an integral part of our UC San Diego community and they have contributed so much to our campus and world.  He urged all alumni to stay connected to campus and visit often, reminding them that UC San Diego will always be their home.
