Ensuring Teacher and Student Success

Chancellor Khosla with local educators and UC San Diego CREATE Director Mica Pollock and Associate Director Susan Yonezawa

Chancellor Khosla today addressed more than 200 local high school and college educators at the San Diego Math Network Symposium at Kearny High School.  Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation through a grant received by UC San Diego’s CREATE and our partner districts, the program’s goal is to network the region’s educators together to collaboratively tackle tough issues facing mathematics education.  The Chancellor expressed UC San Diego’s support in preparing our young students for college and careers, and talked about the importance of programs like CREATE and the San Diego Math Network that unite experts from across our region to solve local and educational challenges.
