Recognizing the Success of Student Ideas

Showing his support of undergraduate research, Chancellor Khosla stopped by the Faculty Club to speak with the 135 students who were presenting their projects at the annual Undergraduate Research Conference.  Students had to be nominated by their faculty mentors to be a part of the event.  Chancellor Khosla said, “I encourage all students to participate in research.  You get to work with top faculty from around the world and conduct research with open-ended questions.  You learn to collect information, collaborate and solve problems.  It is great hands-on, real-world experience, and it allows you to generate new knowledge and contribute to your field.”
