Chancellor Khosla was at the Imperial College London last week to participate in the Global Innovation Summit, sponsored by the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils. He served on multiple panels, discussing a wide range of issues – from the role of universities in global competitiveness to the importance of partnerships and the creation of a diverse workforce. Chancellor Khosla also led the inaugural University and Research Leadership Forum to identify global trends, emerging issues and new models in higher education and research. More than 36 universities from 17 different countries were represented. The forum will serve as a living think-tank to better understand the contributions of global education and research institutions to innovation and competitiveness.
