Honoring the Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Chancellor Khosla joined thousands of campus and community members in celebrating the life and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this weekend.  The Chancellor attended the San Diego County Educators’ Breakfast on Saturday, sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, which brings together leaders from more than 25 K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and other public and private institutions in San Diego to honor the legacy of Dr. King.  On Sunday, nearly 200 UC San Diego Volunteer50 members participated in the annual Day of Service with projects at Father Joe’s Villages, and then marched in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade downtown.
