Commemorating Black History Month

The 11th annual Black History Month Celebration and Scholarship Brunch was held at the Faculty Club on Feb. 23 as part of UC San Diego’s Black History Month commemoration.  More than 250 attendees, including Chancellor Khosla and Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Linda Greene, were treated to live jazz music and a special keynote address by UC San Diego alumnus John Wesley.  During the program, emceed by San Diego 6 reporter C.S. Keys, 65 undergraduates and 25 graduate students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement.
