Collecting Supplies for Local Schools

“The school supply drive is a true community effort and a prime example of UC San Diego’s mission of service.” – Chancellor Khosla

The 11th annual UC San Diego School Supply Drive is officially underway.  Organizers are collecting school supplies to distribute to 16 classrooms in underserved schools across San Diego County.  Collection boxes are located all over campus, including one in the Chancellor’s office.  Staff, faculty and students are encouraged to donate new school supplies, backpacks, lunch boxes, gently used binders and children’s books.  University materials will not be accepted.  The drive runs through September 15.
