"These events are enriching and fulfilling, and allow us to learn more about Native American culture and history." - Chancellor Khosla
UC San Diego is celebrating California Native American Day with an extended calendar of events throughout the academic year. The first event, a kickoff luncheon, took place today at the International Center. Chancellor Khosla joined campus and community members in honoring the culture and history of Native Americans. During the program, the Chancellor told the crowd that it is our responsibility, as a top-notch public university, to ensure that diversity, inclusion, access and affordability are priorities. The program also included performances by the Rincon Youth Storytellers and Viejas Asha Takuk Bird Singers. To view a full calendar of events, click here.
