“With each passing year and each passing anniversary, UC San Diego continues to evolve. And we do more than change with the times. We initiate the change. We envision the future. And we make it happen.” - From Chancellor Khosla’s investiture speech
As part of UC San Diego’s annual Founders’ Dinner celebration, Chancellor Khosla awarded the Chancellor’s Medal to a select group of individuals for their long-standing contributions and involvement with the campus. The 2012 Chancellor’s Medalists are Bob and Betty Beyster, Julia Brown, Peter and Peggy Preuss, and the late Arthur Brody. The Chancellor’s Medal is one of the highest honors bestowed by UC San Diego to recognize exceptional service in support of the university’s mission.
As part of his California Alumni Tour, Chancellor Khosla traveled north on Nov. 10 to attend a “Night at Fox Studios” with Los Angeles alumni. Outside of San Diego, Los Angeles is home to the second largest Triton community.
